Don was an MDiv student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with only a few classes remaining in his degree program, when God called him into vocational evangelism. He founded Harvest Time Ministries and has served effectively and faithfully for the past 16 years in ministry.

On August 24th around 10:30 p.m. Don was involved in a major vehicle accident.  He had just come back in to the country from a mission trip to Indonesia on Friday. He said that they had a wonderful trip but he told family members that he was just exhausted. When Don surrendered to the ministry he told the Lord that he would never turn down an opportunity to preach, no matter where it may be unless he had a prior engagement to preach elsewhere. So, sticking to this promise, he had scheduled a revival to begin this last Sunday. He was on his way home from services August 24th and made it about ¼ mile from his home here on earth. He apparently fell asleep and ran off the side of the road and flipped the vehicle while trying to get back on the road.  Kristin Taylor Clark, Don's daughter said, "We are assured that in that instant my sweet Daddy was in the presence of our Lord! He has always said he didn’t want any tears when he passed, only a celebration service. But the no tears part is hard for my family at this time. Please remember us in your prayers. It is all so hard for us to comprehend. It seems almost surreal.  Please continue to pray for ours family. We were very blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives. We will all have a hard time because we relied so much on him. He was an amazing father, grandfather, husband, and Christian! I know he touched the lives of so many! We are trying our best to remember and cherish the good times. We have been sharing revival stories. My father counted those he lead to Christ as his greatest accomplishments. I know he is in Heaven with a full crown of jewels today!"
